January 1st, 2026 - I was recently featured in the semi-annual magazine from The Lakeside School, Seattle, WA. This edition features many Lakeside alumni currently working in theatre. I'm an alumnus from Class of 1974, the year after Bill Gates graduated. We did a few things together in high school. Perhaps he might read the article. I sincerely hope you do. Click on the picture or URL below to read the article on page 32. I even made the cover!!

April 26, 2026 - On stage with Kirkland Choral Society - 3pm at Bastyr University Chapel, Kenmore, WA - Ralph Vaughan Williams’s Dona Nobis Pacem, written between two world wars, combines the Latin Mass with wartime poetry of American writer Walt Whitman as an urgent plea for peace. Composed nearly 70 years later, Tarik O’Regan’s Triptych is a more modern response to wartime violence, specifically the Israeli-Palestinian conflict that O’Regan witnessed in 2005. (Twenty years later, this conflict persists.) Triptych weaves texts from Jewish, Christian, Islamic, and secular traditions into a tapestry of shared human longing. Though born of different times, both works draw on multiple texts and traditions to confront violence and acknowledge the dignity of every human life.
Imagine the sound of peace: silence in heaven, and harmony on earth. Dona nobis pacem—grant us peace.

February 22, 2026 - On stage with Kirkland Choral Society - 3pm at Bastyr University Chapel, Kenmore, WA - Today, I began studying five new modern choral works for this upcoming concert titled "Birdsong: Love for a Sacred Space" . I'm most impressed with the feature piece, "Sacred Place" by Alex Berko. He organizes the movements of this piece and names them in sequence after sections of the Jewish Friday night Sabbath Service although all the lyrics are in English and only one movement is the actual Jewish liturgy. The other movements are connected with the Jewish liturgy in spirit but are poems from other writers. To find out more about this upcoming concert, click the picture or the following link:
